Food Pantry

The food pantry at Lower Lights Community Church of the Nazarene has been providing food to our neighbors for over 20 years.  This ministry is one of the key ways in which we reach into our community by meeting a basic need, connecting our neighbors to the church, and by connecting them to other resources that may be valuable to their families.

The recent economic climate in our city has dramatically increased the need for more food and has made it challenging to keep up with the current demand.  Currently, we are open three days a week and are serving around 600 people a month by providing 9 meals or around three days of food.

To schedule an appointment in order to receive a food order, call 228-1262 ext. 5#.

If you have any interest in organizing a food drive, donating either food items or personal care items (deodorant, soap, shampoo, toilet paper, diapers, etc.), or donating financially to keep our shelves stocked, you may contact us as follows:

It is, in part, through generous gifts from others that we are able to continue to combat hunger in our community.
